Specializing in sophisticated designs that embrace moments of whimsy, Crystal Maki leads her New Jersey studio with an aesthetic influenced by her past lives in New York and London, a lifelong love of storytelling and the belief that your home should be a joyful place that's a clear reflection of you and your loved ones.

Crystal Maki, Principal Designer, has created beautifully authentic homes all over the United States for over a decade.  From historic brownstones, to pre war buildings to contemporary colonials to modern high rises, Silverwing has provided her clients with timeless homes that elevate their everyday experience.  

Prior to founding Silverwing, she worked at  WNBC and Good Morning America. This along with her studies at both the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York School of Interior Design have helped fine-tune her craft allowing her to seamlessly blend storytelling and design. Her outstanding eye for color, keen sense of timeless trends, and personal sense of whimsy make her design style truly one of a kind.
